Our Deepest Fear

Pensamientos
Uno hace crea las situaciones en las que esta, y tiene el poder de cambiarlas si se lo propone. Podemos quedarnos pensando que queremos que las cosas cambien o simplemente levantarnos y hacer algo al respecto. Todos tenemos las llaves de nuestros futuros. Porque no las usamos? Podemos hacer cualquier cosa que nos propongamos, lograr cualquier cosa, pero porque no lo hacemos? MIEDO?
El miedo nos paraliza, pero podemos dejar que ese miedo dirija nuestras vidas? Miedo al cambio? Porque pensamos que el cambio es malo. Nuestra rutina es TAN buena como para tener miedo cambiarla. Estamos cómodos donde estamos, no estamos bien, ni mal por eso en muchos casos no se quiere cambiar. Pero podemos vivir nuestras vidas evitando ese cambio. Nos conformamos con maso menos, cuando deberíamos intentar cambiarlo y hacer lo que nos hace felices. It’s better to want what you can’t have, than to have what you don’t want.
En la vida no hay certezas, lo único que podemos considerar como seguro, es que no podemos hacer es quedarnos con nuestros brazos cruzados y esperar que alguien lo haga todo por nosotros. Si nosotros no hacemos que las cosas cambien, porque pensamos que las cosas van a cambiar? Hay que tomar la decisión y CAMBIAR.
Y si cambio y me equivoco? Si me equivoco, después veo como lo arreglo, pero quedarse en la misma situación de seguro no va a hacer que nada cambie? Esas equivocaciones a las que le tenemos tanto miedo son de las cuales aprendemos. Las mismas nos hace quien somos, nos forman. Hay que tomar responsabilidades por nuestras acciones. No escondernos.
En mi caso hace tiempo que quiero algo. Patience is a known virtue, but how long can I wait? How long should I wait, before realizing it might not change, and the little change that might occur, might not be enough. It hard to play for all or nothing, especially when you face the large possibility of getting nothing. But the more time you wait the harder it gets.

Poverty
“You can make a difference by your actions.
You may think you are powerless,
but together you can be the generation that
sees every child get the education that is their right.
World leaders have promised this
and you must make sure they keep to it
by joining together to speak with one voice.
Promises to children should never be broken.
You are the future of this world
and can change it for the better.

in the fight against poverty

that joined the campaign to make poverty history.

Quisiera que esa persona fuese
alguien con quien compartir
un verdadero entendimiento;
alguien con quien ser completamente
sincero y abierto; alguien
que tuviera cualidades admirables;
alguien con cuyos intereses e
ideales se complementen con los mios.
Quisera que esa persona me
alegrara el corazon con el regalo de su risa
y que no temiera llorar en mi hombro.

mi sonrisa a lo largo de las estaciones de mi vida.
